When a QR code appears in an email, website, PDF, video, or app on the device you are using, you do not need a second camera. Take a screenshot, then paste or upload that image here. The scanner reads the screenshot in the browser and shows the decoded content.

Screenshot Tips
Keep the code at a useful size before capturing the screen. A full-display screenshot can make a small QR code difficult to read, especially after messaging or social apps compress it.
- Zoom the source before taking the screenshot when possible.
- Crop closer to the code but preserve its light border.
- Avoid drawing, highlighting, or placing controls over the code.
- Use the original screenshot rather than a photo of the screen.
Same-Device Privacy
